K82

Even on the first few kilometers, the route takes you past the beautiful, famous Lake Cauma, whose turquoise-blue water delights numerous visitors every year. Shortly afterwards, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Rhine Gorge, the “Grand Canyon of Switzerland”. The Ruinaulta is a geological masterpiece that was created by the Flims landslide around 9,000 years ago and is now one of the most spectacular landscapes in Switzerland. From Ruinaulta, the route leads to Trin, where you tackle the first ascent towards Alp Mora. Alp Mora gives you a unique view of the surrounding peaks and impresses with natural phenomena such as the glacier mills in Val Maliens. After another climb, you reach the impressive Bargis high valley before the route leads up to Flimserstein. From there, the route continues into the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sardona, where the Tectonic Arena with the famous Tschingelhörner and Martinsloch awaits you. Segnesboden, the hub of the mountain railroad with the world-first FlemXpress, is the next highlight on your route. From here, you run through Nagens and on to Crap Masegn, which offers fantastic views of the surrounding area. Before descending to Falera, you will pass Crap sogn Gion. From Falera onwards, you will feel how close the finish line is. Enjoy the last few kilometers before you cross the finish line after an unforgettable journey through breathtaking nature. The K82 trail run not only offers you an intense running experience, but also the opportunity to experience the beauty and diversity of the Swiss mountain landscape up close.
