Even on the first few kilometers, the route takes you past the beautiful, famous Lake Cauma, whose turquoise-blue water delights numerous visitors every year. Shortly afterwards, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Rhine Gorge, the “Grand Canyon of Switzerland”. The Ruinaulta is a geological masterpiece that was created by the Flims landslide around 9,000 years ago and is now one of the most spectacular landscapes in Switzerland.
From Ruinaulta, the route leads to Trin, where you tackle the first ascent towards Alp Mora. Alp Mora gives you a unique view of the surrounding peaks and impresses with natural phenomena such as the glacier mills in Val Maliens.
After another climb, you reach the impressive Bargis high valley before the route leads up to Flimserstein. From there, the route continues into the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sardona, where the Tectonic Arena with the famous Tschingelhörner and Martinsloch awaits you.
From here, you walk through Nagens and on to Crap Masegn, which will delight you with its fantastic views of the surrounding area.
Down to Plaun, from where you can sense how close you are to your destination. Enjoy the last few kilometers through the forest before crossing the finish line after an unforgettable journey through breathtaking natural surroundings.
