Right from the start, the route takes you along forest roads towards the Rhine Gorge, where the impressive landscape of the “Swiss Grand Canyon” awaits you. The Ruinaulta is a geological masterpiece created by the Flims rockslide around 9,000 years ago and is now one of the most spectacular landscapes in Switzerland.
From Ruinaulta, the route continues to Trin, where you will tackle the first climb towards Alp Mora. Alp Mora offers unique views of the surrounding peaks and impresses with natural phenomena such as the glacial mills in Val Maliens.
After another climb, you will reach the impressive Bargis high valley before the route leads up to Flimserstein. The trail continues to the Sardona UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the Tectonic Arena with the famous Tschingelhörner peaks and Martinsloch cave await you.
The trail leads through Nagens and on to Crap Masegn, which offers fantastic views. On the descent to Plaun, you can feel how close you are to the finish line. Enjoy the last few kilometers through the forest, past the famous Lake Cauma, before crossing the finish line after an unforgettable journey through breathtaking natural surroundings.
