Hotspots for spectators & supporters at the Swissalpine

Experience the unique atmosphere of the Swissalpine up close. There are several exciting spectator hotspots along the route where you can cheer on the runners. Many of these points are easily accessible by public transport.

Transportation within the running region

  • Foppa (K42 / km 4):
    Take the Flem Xpress from the Flims valley station.
  • Versam-Safien train station (K78 / km 14, K23 / km 14):
    by PostBus and RhB via Ilanz or Reichenau.
  • Trin Digg (K78 / km 20, team change):
    By post bus from Flims to Trin Porclis (every 30 minutes).
  • Tegia Sut (K78 / km 29): take the local bus from Trin to Purcs. Timetable based on demand, reservation required. From there, walk to Tegia Sut (1.0 km, 20 min).
  • Bargis (K78 / km 40, team change): by post bus from Flims (every 30 minutes).
  • Tegia Gronda / Flimserstein (K78 / km 41): take the local bus to Fidaz, then the mountain railway to Tegia Gronda (2054 m above sea level). The date of commissioning is still to be confirmed. The timetable will be announced later.
  • Cassonsgrat mountain station (K78/km 48, K42/km 12):
    with Flem Xpress from Flims valley station.
  • Segnes (K78/km 50, K42/km 14): take the Flem Xpress from the Flims valley station or the local bus from Laax Bergbahnen to Alp Nagens (every 30 minutes), then walk to the Segnes hut (1.4 km, 30 minutes).
  • Crest la Siala (K78/km 62, K42/km 26): take the mountain railway to Crap Sogn Gion (every 30 minutes), then walk from there (1.6 km, 30 minutes).
  • Plaun (K78/km 66, K42/km 30): take the local bus from Laax Bergbahnen to the Plaun junction (every 30 minutes), then walk to Alp Plaun (1.2 km, 20 minutes).
  • Stenna Center (K78/km 72, K42/km 36): take the local bus/post bus to Flims Bergbahnen.
  • Lake Cauma (all formats):
    On foot from Waldhaus (1.0 km, 20 min).

Travel advice

Use public transportation for a stress-free experience. Many hotspots are easily accessible by post bus or gondola lift. If you are arriving by car, please note that certain roads are only accessible with a permit and that the parking spaces in Prau la Selva cannot be used.

Accommodation

Flims Laax is easily accessible both by car and by public transport – only 30 minutes from Chur and 1 hour 45 minutes from Zurich. We recommend that you use public transport to travel to and from the event.

Travel to and from the event by public transport is free of charge for all participants, so you can travel comfortably and stress-free. A few weeks before the event, you will receive a starter email with your personal free code.

Parking

For those arriving by car, the Promenade parking garage (cash payment only) and the Stenna parking garage are available. Due to the high season and when the weather is fine, parking spaces are likely to be full. It is recommended that you allow sufficient time for your arrival.

Guests staying overnight in Flims Laax or Falera receive a guest card. This entitles you to free use of post buses and local buses within the region.

The guest card is issued directly by the hotel or host.
